Everything on this earth has a fixed time, and each of us has our limited time in life. Time is incredibly precious, and it is impossible to turn it back. It is a unit of measurement for the passage of time, linked to the lifespan of humans and all other forms of life on earth.
The body’s time begins at birth and ends at death, when the soul departs from the body. Time starts at birth and continues through hours, days, months, and years as one grows older. We are part of this time and part of this book, like a textbook from which we learn during our school years. Each of us has our own book, passing through the events of life like a story or a novel in a narrative style, and we should not forget that this book will be a witness to what we have experienced in life for the afterlife.
These pages turn with the passing of seconds, minutes, and hours, and flip day by day through months and years until the time comes and life ends. This marks the last page, as the sun sets, gathering its golden gown and taking the rays of light with it, leaving darkness behind. The sky embraces the sun and the clouds, just as the soul is embraced at its end, like a mother holding her child. The sea becomes calm, with no sound or movement, leaving behind a message that life is merely time and a test for us, that it is transient, and that humans are also just moments in time. We must make the most of this time by doing something meaningful.
Birth is like the sunrise during the day, and death is like the sunset disappearing from sight. Sunset is the moment when the sun fades, just as a person disappears in the presence of death. This sunset leaves behind a trace, announcing to the earth that the sun has departed, just as the human soul leaves at its appointed time with no return, just like time, days, and years that pass and can never be regained.
